Connected teams, creating synergies and efficiencies

We announced last month that Nursing Hygiene Group (NHG) and Clinicare Supplies were merging. Since then, we have been overwhelmed by the positive reaction and support from our staff, customers and suppliers alike.

Firstly, we are pleased to be able to retain all staff, in all our locations. We have already linked our IT and telephone systems. We have also installed new video conferencing facilities between all our UK locations so that our teams are fully connected.

We are working hard to bring our teams together, and create synergies and efficiencies. We are already feeling the benefits of our combined capability in core business areas such as IT, finance, HR and logistics.

Broader range of products and services for Clinicare customers

Clinicare customers now have access to a wider range of pre-designed furniture and furnishings through the NHG’s Stock 7 brand. Transforming a care home setting can be costly and time-consuming, with average lead times in the furniture industry taking six to eight weeks. A lot of revenue is lost due to the delay in rooms being furnished and occupied. With a range of eight distinctive and tasteful interior schemes, Stock 7 offers a complete package that means an entire bedroom can be transformed in just seven working days.

Customers wishing to enhance the look and feel of their homes can also directly access the talented and experienced team of interior designers and project managers at NHG.

Enhanced e-procurement functionality for NHG customers

Global Connect® was first developed by Clinicare in 2011 to help care homes streamline and manage their ordering process. Over the years, Global Connect has been further developed through innovation at customer’s requests and now incorporates an all-inclusive budget control, order approval, product lockdown, management reporting system, a comprehensive training module and more! During 2018, all this functionality will also be available to all NHG customers.
